He came from Ecuador and built Beltran Jewelry on handmade nameplates and name rings. More than 40 years later, the original shop is still open at 55 W. 47th Street, Room 700 — with our father and his brother still on the floor, and family helping in the shop when they’re there. His wife and the children run shipments and the online case.
